| To fit correctly, the suit must be ordered correctly. And
to order correctly, first you have to measure correctly.
PLEASE have someone help you take the
measurements. We want your new
jumpsuit to fit you as perfectly as you do. We must rely on you for accurate
measurements and appropriate instructions. The way you measure will
determine how your jumpsuit fits. Remember to measure over applicable
clothing, calling our attention to specific fit instructions, significant
body characteristics, or relevant flight concerns in the comments section
of your order form. If you know your dress shirt size (neck and sleeve length),
jacket size (chest and torso), and pants size (waist and inseam) please include
then on the order form. They help us by validating your measurements and give us some idea of how you like your clothing
to fit. And if you have then handy, a photo of yourself, front, back and side
view. It makes it so much easier to visualize what your measurements are saying. Use a good tape measure, (not the steel retractable one for the
deck project), you can get them cheap at any fabric store and
PLEASE have
someone help you take the measurements. Time and time again we find most
problems with fit are the result of poor measurements. Pull the tape snug and
level around the part being measured and record the measurements in inches to
the nearest 1/4 inch. (Please measure twice so we only have to
cut once). All measurements are to be made over your regular
skydiving clothing and weight vests. The inseam measurement is best done while
wearing gear or at least pulling up the crotch to simulate the snug fit of a
rig. This is a super important measurement if you are ordering booties. If you are wanting a looser fit let us
adjust the measurements. Make use of the comments section and the back of the
order form, if needed, to let us know of any special considerations or fit desires you
have. And once again,
PLEASE have someone help you take the
measurements. We will not be responsible for incorrect measurement.
The proper fitting of booties and bootie bottoms. The proper fitting of
booties is a personal taste issue. Some like them tight and short and some
prefer them a little long and loose. Help us out and let us know if you have
a preference in the fit. Bootie bottoms are like car tires and brakes, they
do wear out. They are designed to be easily replaced by a qualified service
repair technician. We have some that have lasted a couple seasons of regular
use and some that are worn off in a matter of months. Swoop landings on
asphalt tends to wear them out quickly. And yes, there is a reason I don't
use zippers in my bootie design.
Did we mention,
PLEASE have someone help you take the
measurements! They are critical to a proper fit. Any questions on
how to measure that the form doesn't answer, please call and we will be glad
to help out. We will even take the measurements for you if you can get here.
We only use quality materials and construction, backed by the best warrantee in the business.
